Los Angeles based and raised in the midwest, Nate has nearly two decades of experience performing across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He is a founding member of the band See Through Dresses (Tiny Engines) and has performed and recorded with Better Oblivion Community Center, Semler, and Criteria, among others. Trained as a jazz drummer, he embraces all music from alt-rock to modern pop with open arms.
As a young producer, he worked for two years with Michael Mogis and Benjamin Brodin at Another Recording Company in Omaha, recording with artists such as Bright Eyes, Avi Kaplan, and Seahaven. In early 2022, Nate relocated to Los Angeles, and began producing music out of Big Bad Sound, where he has recorded Willow Smith, Rise Against, and Cuco.
He has performed on, engineered, and produced records for Universal Music Group, Loma Vista, Count Your Lucky Stars, and Dead Oceans, among many other record labels.
